The Breath Of Life
by David Edgin
God said,"Let Us
Make man today,
Just as we are,
In the same way.
God is three parts,
All One whole,
Body and Spirit,
And Immortal Soul.
There in a Garden,
In morning's light,
God gave to Adam,
The Breath of Life.
When He made Eve,
From Adam's rib,
Life passed on
To her from him.
Each little babe,
Born from then on,
Bares the same gift,
Passed on and on.
All have a body,
Each one unique.
Different in color,
Size and physique.
All have a soul,
Set identity,
The power to say,
"I am me."
All have a spirit,
Eternal to dwell,
Either in Heaven,
Or else in Hell.
This precious gift,
None can deny,
For God gave us
The Breath of Life.

Beauty of God's Creation
by Verna Mull
Around God's world lies beauty, that many have never known,
Each area arranged in splendor, where God's vegetation has grown.
There are places with thorny cacti, where maples and elms won't grow;
Many different kinds of vegetation, Yet, God spoke, and it was so!
There are many majestic mountains, with tall, swaying evergreens.
There are lakes and seas, and oceans, with reeds along the shore;
And places of blooming bushes, and fruit bearing trees by the score!
There are forests, fields, and glens, where God's many animals are grown,
Trees that men can cut down, and build places that they call home!
It's never boring to travel-wherever, in God's beautiful land;
But it is always so amazing, how artistically it all was planned!
And, I often think of that moment, when it all was put in place;
Just a moment in His time, a plan showing God's great grace!
Man has tried to explain it away-a very far different conclusion;
That it all fell into place, by a thing that they called evolution!
What a stretch of a sinful, warped mind, to even dream that could be,
When God has given us His Word, which makes it very plain to see
That God has never varied, in His infinite, inclusive plan
To show His loving nature, in the beauty He has revealed to man!
Elderly homemaker who loves the Lord, and would like to share the love of her Savior with others. Knowing Him, has made life all worth while.
