The Jesus Christ Protection Program

Philippians 1:6 (New International Version)

6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28 (New International Version)

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, [a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose.

Isaiah 43:2 (New International Version)

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Mark 8:36 (King James Version)

36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

I was watching a Disney movie with my daughter called, ‘Princess Protection Program,’ in the movie it tells the tale of a princess who is set to become queen of her country, but must flee when it is invaded by an evil dictator.

She is then forced into the Princess Protection Program - a secret organization funded by royal families to look after endangered princesses.

In The Princess Protection Program, there was four stages the princess had to go through while in the protect plan. Looking at these stages we can relate these stages to our beginning walk with Christ.

Stage: 1- Extraction- What brought us to Jesus-Christ, our issue coming to Christ with it?

Stage: 2- Transition: Learning who we are in Christ, and where we fit in the Kingdom of God and this leads us to the next stage.

Stage: 3- transformations- God changing you into what you were called to be

(Jeremiah 29:11). A new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17) in this situation we become unrecognizable to the enemy and in protective hand. Finally when God sees we are ready we go to the next stage.

Stage: 4 –Relocation- God will bring us to a new place, new friends if we let him. Sometimes our old friends may not be easily accepted of our new status and the new us.

Sometimes on our walk with Christ there will be crossroads in each stage of our lives whether it’s a death in the family, health issues, divorce, job issues,  and marriage issues. God says there will be trials and tribulations. We have to remember not to lose faith and never dwell on fear.

We are in God’s protective program, we seek his face for answers, we seek his protection when we are afraid and don’t understand what’s going on around us so we seek his guidance. We seek Gods loving arms when we feel rejected, and we seek God when this is all we have left. In our seeking God we find that the answers, were already there and peace that passes all understanding.

It is hard to keep greatness down. We all have greatness in us; it is place in us at birth by God. Manifesting this greatness is for Gods glory not our glory.

We have to remembered things will work out for our good, as Romans 8:28 states.
